Hello!
I am looking to delete my bungie and Steam account that is tied to said bungie account. I am wondering if there is a proper method for doing this operation in order to not leave information or accounts stranded in a database somewhere. It seems bungie is pretty strict on not being able to unlink accounts. And after some research it seems like accounts can get sort of "stranded" somewhere or limited if I try to delete things in the incorrect order. Anyone have insight on the potential best way to do this?
Thank you and God bless!

It is not possible to delete a Bungie account. If you live in the EU or California, you can request data deletion, but this permanently bans all linked platform accounts from Bungie games. If you’re from either of those locations and would like to have your data deleted, head to the below link. Please remember that Bungie will permanently ban the accounts with no way of removing said ban. If you ever wish to return, you will have to create a brand new Bungie.net account, new platform account & purchase any DLC again. You should only do this if you absolutely have zero intentions of returning. If you are trying to get around the new cross-save system where you can no longer unlink accounts, this will NOT help you. Even if Bungie were to delete the data associated with this Bungie account, you will NOT be able to link the platform accounts to a new Bungie account. Again, Bungie will BAN the accounts. Still wish to do this? Go here. You will need to provide government issued ID. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049024632-Contact-Form-Data-Privacy-Requests
