Horrible Steam/PC Performace with Tuesday's Hotfix

With this Tuesday's update, I'm getting noticeably worse performance across all destinations. Some destinations are worse than others. I knew for sure something was off when I entered the Anchor Of Light on the Moon, for some reason this area decided to become a performance killer. Average FPS and particularly the 1% lows are just dreadful now. I really hope Bungie can address this before their last hotfix release, because the game feels awful to play now. My Specs: GPU: RTX 4080 | 16GB CPU: AMD 9800X3D RAM: 32 GB | 6000 MT/s

I have to play by myself as playing with anymore the one other person causes the FPS to go down by half and drops constantly during any gameplay. Enemies spawning, particle effects etc etc People quoting graphics cards aren’t helping either xD

    • It's time for you to introduce yourself to Nvidia profile inspector it's my friend it's driver level changes that aren't available in control panel run it by a video or AI for destiny and it will give you everything to set up, Nvidia drivers sometimes turn off rebar by default even if you applied it in bios and you can manually set it in Nvidia profile inspector

      • I have similar specs to you except I have a 3080 Ti. I haven't noticed any difference.
