Bungie… Disable IGNITIONS from the CRUCIBLE

Personally i think it’s dependent on the source of ignition. Things that players have to waste most abilities for (Warlock melee-nade, hunter knife-nade, etc) are okay. Most of the time you either miss one of the two, rendering yourself useless because no ignition + no abilities, or you DO ignite and it just doesn’t do enough to be useful. I find it more of a “stop handholding” tool than anything (like Cloudstrike). I do agree that ability spam should be in more ability focused game modes, but i also think that removing something that you hardly run into nowadays is kind of pointless and really hurts the people who DO like using that stuff. (P.S: I’m not talking about the whole Pit of Heresy combo. That was genuinely broken)

It has been nerfed. It was due to the Pit of Heresy armor 4 set bonus. They also nerfed Arc hunter one shot melee that was plaguing crucible. So we are now back to more neutral pvp. -

7 RepliesIgnitions have ALWAYS been in the game. If a player is able to ignite off of a single ability, then it is a problem. If it takes multiple abilities, then it is not a problem. Are they very good? Heck yes. But using 2 abilities for a possible kill is a balanced trade imo, especially considering the long cooldown on abilities.
