i need to unlink my current steam account from my bungie account
As the post suggests, I need to unlink my Steam account from my Bungie account. I linked my brother's Steam account to my Bungie account years ago when cross-save first dropped, but I lost access to his account, and he isn't around anymore for me to get access to it either. I know Bungie changed its cross-save policy recently, but there's no other way for me to be able to play on my account as I sold my PS5. Bungie, please help :(

Hey there, unfortunately as of March 2025 it is no longer possible to unlink a platform account from a Bungie Account, and they are not making any exceptions. There is an Epic Games account linked, is that not viable? If worse comes to worst, you could link an XBox account and use the XBox for Microsoft Windows PC store version.
