Any Cross Save change requires all linked accounts to authenticate successfully, and linking a new platform is normally added into the existing Cross Save relationship automatically. Since you’ve already tried different browsers, incognito, and the Companion App, you’ve already covered the standard cache/session troubleshooting. At this point, please double-check that you’re signing into the correct Xbox/Microsoft account and not a different Microsoft profile in the auth window. If the same error continues, post a screenshot of the full Cross Save/account-linking page and the exact point where ErrorCannotAuthorise appears. That will help narrow down whether the Xbox account itself isn’t completing authentication or whether the Bungie.net account already has a linkage state that’s preventing the change.
