Player State Bug: Devour, Weaver's Call, Weapon Rendering, and Activity Interactions Fail Until Death

# Prismatic Warlock Player-State Corruption Bug (Invisible Weapons, Missing Reticle, Broken Aspect Effects, Interaction Failures) **Platform:** PC (Steam) ## Summary I am encountering a recurring issue on Warlock, most frequently while using Prismatic ability-focused builds. When the bug occurs, multiple gameplay systems stop functioning correctly at the same time. This appears to be more than a subclass-specific issue because both subclass mechanics and unrelated activity interaction mechanics fail simultaneously. ## Symptoms When the bug is active: * Weapons may become invisible. * Weapon reticle/crosshair disappears. * Feed the Void no longer grants Devour from ability kills. * Weaver's Call no longer spawns Threadlings when casting a class ability. * Phoenix Dive performs its animation and initial heal but does not grant Cure. * Activity interaction prompts can disappear (for example, no prompt appears to deposit carried objects). * Carryable objects can behave incorrectly and sometimes remain in first-person view instead of entering the normal third-person carry state. ## Observations The issue appears most frequently while using high ability-usage Prismatic Warlock builds. The bug often appears shortly after: * Casting Healing Rift. * Casting Phoenix Dive. * Interacting with or picking up Tangles. * Interacting with other carryable activity objects. Once the bug starts: * It persists until death. * Casting another class ability does not fix it. * Healing Rift still creates a healing rift. * Phoenix Dive still performs its animation and initial heal. * Aspect and buff interactions remain broken. * Picking up additional Tangles still works. * Some carryable activity objects remain bugged. * Deposit prompts may not appear. * Some weapons may display correctly while others remain invisible. * Swapping back to an affected weapon causes the issue to return. ## Temporary Fix Dying immediately restores all affected functionality. After respawning: * Devour works normally. * Weaver's Call works normally. * Weapon models and reticles return. * Interaction prompts return. * Carry-object behavior returns to normal. ## Builds Where This Happens Most Often ### Arc Build * Arc Soul * Ionic Sentry * Ionic Traces * Frequent class ability usage * Bolt Charge generation ### Prismatic Threadling Build * Feed the Void * Weaver's Call * High Threadling generation * Frequent Threadling grenade usage Prismatic Lightning Surge Build * Lightning Surge * Arcane Needle * Frequent melee ability usage ## Expected Result Subclass aspects, buffs, weapon rendering, reticles, and activity interaction mechanics continue functioning normally. Actual Result Multiple gameplay systems fail simultaneously, including subclass aspect triggers, weapon rendering, reticle display, carry-object behavior, and activity interaction mechanics. Because the issue affects both subclass mechanics and unrelated activity interaction systems at the same time, it appears to be a broader player-state corruption/desynchronization issue rather than an isolated Feed the Void or Weaver's Call bug.
