I play on the Xbox Series S. Three weeks ago, this problem was nonexistent, and I have been dealing with it ever since!
This error indicates it's caused by a Wi-Fi problem. I checked, and my internet connection is perfect. I am able to play other games, and even Cloud Play D2 on Nvidia. I have restarted my console and even wiped its data. I have done all the troubleshooting I can do!
The only thing that used to work was playing another game for about 5 minutes, then logging back in.
Other than that, it was literally uninstalling and redownloading Destiny 2.
For some reason, I can only play the game after 8:00 p.m. EST
