recently i wanted to play destiny again after years of missing it due to not having a ps4 overtime mine broke and it was sad till i got my brand new pc and so i downloaded it again off the epic games store and played it for a bit just to notice nothing i had saved over like my guns my skins all my bikes basically everything got wiped and so i went to the bungie page logged in and everything with the same psn account i use for epic games and it shows all my stuff it shows that i have stuff like the limited arc guns are even the drift kitsune skin that was in the shop 2023 when epic did a collab with destiny and so i went to merge my epic games account to like my main stuff and it was the wrong account sadly it put on the brand new accounts i used instead of my ps4 account due to the psn account not showing anything on it??? even though you can see on my profile that i have been collecting stuff in the past and buying bundles and now im screwed haha if i deactivate this then i have to wait 90 days and i honestly dont know what to do haha i spent around 300-500$ on this game and wanted to play again to show support and now im honestly lost can you please help me.
I currently have access to:
* The PlayStation account that owns the characters
* My Bungie account
* My EpicGames account
i didnt try to link it through steam due to me also not knowing what to do and i even tried to ask epic games for help and was told to come here i can give proof if needed to all these statements and im more than happy to cooperate with any requests i do understand the meaning of the cooldown and the way bungie has there set ways im not asking for a miracle or anything crazy haha i just would like help getting my original stuff back :(

Hello there Thanks for contacting us. From what you described, this does not sound like your original Destiny 2 items were deleted. It sounds more like your Epic account is currently attached to the wrong Destiny account / Bungie.net profile or the wrong account was selected during Cross Save setup, which can make it look like your characters, gear, and purchases are gone even though they still exist on the original platform account. Cross Save does not permanently transfer characters or account data between platforms. It only makes one selected character set available across linked platforms while Cross Save is active. If the wrong account was selected or linked, the only supported path is usually to deactivate Cross Save, correct the linked accounts, and then wait out the 90-day lockout before Cross Save can be enabled again. If your PlayStation account is the one that actually owns your original characters and items, Support can help verify which Bungie.net profile and Cross Save setup those characters belong to. However, platform accounts cannot be manually moved between Bungie.net profiles or manually delinked outside the normal account-management flow. Please note that if Cross Save needs to be deactivated, the 90-day cooldown will still apply and there are no exceptions to that policy.
