According to the cross save page, my PSN and Steam profiles are linked. I even logged into the Bungie website using my Steam account and it showed me my PSN characters as the characters that are supposed to be used. I can use these characters on PSN just fine. But when I login to steam, I am met with my original Steam characters instead of my PSN characters. Why? No clue. When I login to DIM, it actually shows two different Destiny 2 profiles, with one being just Steam and the other being Xbox, Epic, and PSN. How could this even happen? It doesn't make any sense. I never wanted this to happen, and I absolutely would like to avoid waiting 3 months to fix this if possible at all.
I am 100% sure that every account involved is the correct account.

3 RepliesEdited by BNGHelp3: 6/16/2026 4:08:10 PMHi there, Thanks for reaching out. What most likely happened is you were inadvertently logging in to a different Steam ID despite using the same Steam account. Steam IDs and other platform profiles frequently trip players up this way, and it would explain the issue you were experiencing. That said, it appears you've now disabled Cross Save. As a result, you must wait out the mandatory cooldown for disabling Cross Save, plus any cooldowns related to recent purchases. However, during the time Cross Save is disabled, your characters will still be available to you, but only on their original platforms. Also, please note these cooldowns cannot be expedited or removed under any circumstances, with no exceptions.
