Okay Bungie, Unnerf Lightsabers
I've heard about Lightsabers being nerfed, no point to nerf them for the PvP crybabies.
Since this is the end of Destiny 2, EVERYTHING needs a BIG BUFF!
BIG BUFFS FOR EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE!

2 RepliesThey're still like the number 1 special dps primary. The only thing they did was instead of getting 6 ammo for the price of 3 used it's instead 4 ammo for the price of 3. Basically you just have less room for mistakes. No actual nerf to dps

2 RepliesThey didn't get nerfed for pvp, they got nerfed so people couldn't just block their way to victory while their teammates wait to finally respawn. And honestly, the only buffs I actually want are for nerfs that are no longer valid due to power creep or the justification for those nerfs no longer being in the game to be reverted, and for exotic weapons, especially ones that require multiple kills or to do damage equal to such to have their stats buffed to match legendary weapons. They already can't really justify the stat discrepancies some weapons have in comparison to their archetypes like how Touch of Malice has around 20 some less aim assist than ALL 260 scouts, or Sunshot having 20-30 to less AA than ALL current and former lightweight hand cannons. But it's equally difficult to justify why something like Turncoat has 10-20 less range and 20-30 less stability than every other hand cannon players will use in pvp because of performance enhancing perks like Keep Away or Slideways. Bring exotics in line with legendaries and that alone will do wonders.

Using the lightsaber is a bit too much like a one man army in easier missions. (Old campaigns, strikes) I'd rather be forced to play into a build or have actual special ammo economy. Maybe this is just me, but I like to use all of my abilities and weapons. If the lightsaber wasn't getting nerfed, then I just wouldn't be able to use it.

It didn’t need to get nerfed in pvp, it’s hard enough to get ammo as it is and the saver constantly whiffs. Now it whiffs and we get no ammo. Its practically useless now

Yeah the big concern is not that they nerfed it but why would they Nerf something if they're just going to close Live service content they should have just left the way things were. I feel like that's a clear indication that people in charge of Bungee they just don't know the idea of fun they don't know the point of a video game is to enjoy it not to make it stressful. I feel like it does remind a lot of people the reason why things failed in the first place, and I wouldn't be surprised that Marathon meets the same fate sooner or later..

1 ReplyThey did not get nerfed… exactly. The ammo economy did nerfed. Ie if you want to do praxic stuff.. build into it via mods and armor stats and all s good. The damage is untouched and definitely absolutely nuts with the right build.
