I am trying to play the Beyond Light expansion that I never completed. I got to Step 19, Return to Camp, and the quest is bugged. Zavala is suppose to be at the campsite to interact with but he will not spawn and the site is empty. I have tried everything. Restarted the game and my system. Reloaded the map, relaunched quest from orbit, backtracked to trigger ghost dialogue that was triggered but seems to be running on a loop because the same dialogue keeps repeating. Loaded different characters, even cleared my PS5 file cache to try and remove any corrupted files. Nothing is fixing the issue and I cannot abandon the quest because the game does not allow for the player to do that so there is no other way to restart the quest line. I cannot find anything online that will solve the issue and clearly Bungie will not be releasing any updates to fix the problem (lol). In the Europa map there is an option to launch campaign at Darkness’s Doorstep which begins the Beyond Light campaign from the beginning. I tried this option and replayed the first mission only for the game to pick up where I left off, on Step 19, upon completing the first mission instead of restarting the entire campaign. I have spent hours trying to fix the problem with every work around I can think of instead of playing new content because I want to complete the game from where I left off so long ago. Stasis subclass is unavailable to me because I haven’t finished Beyond Light and I do not want to just never finish the quest line. In my last resort I turn to the remaining Destiny 2 community to try and help me resolve this issue. If anyone reads this and can help it would be immensely appreciated.
