Hey hey, now that the game is confirmed to have gotten its final update I snagged the bundle that came with everything and admittedly I don't know exactly what most of it entails but I'm told its still good content. Personally I'm glad it's over, above all else what killed the game for me was the FOMO that especially came along with sun-setting and the structure of seasons, my last memory of the game being how much of a chore it felt to do the weeklies and grind for the season pass along with the writing feeling sloppy throughout the seasonal story. Coming back now feels like a good investment since a lot of the game feels new again and hearing that D2 music from when the game first launched I felt elated and nostalgic. Current friend group is getting on the game again too and despite all the crap you put the community through Bungie I'm at least glad it's over for now and people can try to enjoy the game again without being on a time limit at least for as long as the servers stay up. To everyone else, hope you get the Destiny 3 you want. I don't expect it to be good if they continue with the live service seasonal model but I genuinely hope that they deliver IF they do release a third game. For now, while I catch up to current Destiny I hope to connect with people and enjoy the game game for what it is and make some new friends as well because if there's every going to be a next game I don't think I'll continue the journey. The game still holds a place in my heart though, Destiny hype on release back in 2014 truly was a time.
