The real challenge is not having more players to come back the real challenge for bungee right now is to keep these players in the game, because once you get your Immortal title and you have everything done there's no reason to log in. Just remember that's what happened to Marathon the first 24 hours once they did everything that was available player numbers drop from over 100k to 80,000 within less than 10 hours on release date. Bungees biggest challenge since shadowkeep was to keep players active even Luke Smith said in the past that sometimes it's hard for them to produce enough content to keep players active. Even though bungee said to us Destiny 2 was supposed to have a 10-year plan of content which never f****** happened..

Tower is so full they have to rotate players by kicking out anyone who’s been idle for 20 seconds. This is good traction.

2 RepliesThey will all quit within a week or 2 .

Yeah steam is the lowest metric lol its much more than 100k.

It's cos of the new content, same with a new season, sudden burst of players and then the numbers fall off cos there isn't more to do, content was drip fed, and annoying nerfs, and bugs not being fixed, etc. It's infuriating that Bungie devs were forced to wait until now to be allowed to give the players what they want, what we've been screaming for, but without further content it won't be enough to save the game, sadly. Gonna watch where Parsons goes, the steaming turd, and avoid what he touches next.

Kids and their toys.

It’s over a million on console alone. It’s great to see!!!

And that's with server issues. I got weasel codes, but not until after I was able to check out the tower and EDZ.

#1 on Steam Charts for sales too. Plus 167,000 online. Pretty miraculous given how bad the economy is and how many people don't have the same funds they did when d2 was first launched.

Congratulations
