Twas the night before end of services…
Twas the night before end of service
No guardians bounty prepping, no more need for sweating.
Our guardians huddle next to the chimney, filled with glee,
In the hopes that soon we will get D3
When over on twitter there rose such chatter
I sprang from the tower to see what was the matter.
Everyone’s talking about the downfall of marathon
All of this happening because of Pete Parson.
Then in a twinkling, I stayed up late.
Dmg tweets Guardians make their own fate.
So much to do, so much to see, one final jump
To celebrate our monuments of triumph.
Guardians all over sol celebrating SRL’s return
Many of us hoping to see that car collection burn.
Now on Calus, on Argos, on galhran, on insurrection prime
Calling all guardians to run pantheon one last time.
Rage rage against the dying of the light.
Do not go silently into that good night.

I’ve played with a lot you all over the years, maybe dipped out on even more when you brought a -blam!- build to a gm or something, but either way it’s been a honor. I’ve spent work years in this game. Don’t really know what’ll happen when it ends. Maybe mow the lawn more I dunno. I don’t regret a minute. Good luck out there guardians.

I'm looking forward to this "Christmas Day in June" release, but as we all know Bungie so well in times of launching a lot of content, none of us will be able to log on until Boxing Day.
