I have sold my xbox and migrated to pc, when I went to cross save my accounts I had it linked to an old steam account which I had lost access to. So I decided to unlink it, I didnt realise at the time that I would be locked out of linking anything to the microsoft account. I now even have access to the old steam but since its deactivating my characters dont transfer. I linked an epic account to it just to work around it but even that doesnt have my characters. Please bungie, remove this feature. I am aware its to combat account selling etc but this means many of us will not be able to appreciate the last days of destiny.
