There is a genuine problem with the bans for this game. I wasn’t personally banned, but my boyfriend was in August of last year. He obviously submitted a request because as far as we know he did nothing wrong. His name on there is LilDongInc if anyone can/wants to look up what he’s done and maybe tell me something that im not seeing. He’s never been a crucible player like I have been. He raided a lot but other than that there’s nothing. He’s sent multiple appeals, but my issue with it is he preordered the newest expansion and was banned before he was even able to play it. No refund or anything, and no explanation for why EXACTLY he was banned. So when you do an appeal, you have to GUESS what you did wrong, or what someone else did wrong. You also have to HOPE that they even look at your appeal, whether you did anything wrong or not. I just want him unbanned, it’s sickening to spend the amount of money he did on expansions, not to mention 10 years of his life, just to not be able to play anymore with no explanation. This is more of a rant than anything, or a shot in the dark to try to get his account back. Even if I get torn to shreds for this, I genuinely do not care.

5 RepliesHey there, Bungie only respond to a ban appeal if they intend to overturn the ban or require further information. The advice that Bungie has been giving is that if 4-6 weeks pass without either happening, then the ban has been upheld. Multiple appeals are not allowed, they just get closed off automatically, the first appeal is the only one that matters. The first appeal may not get closed, this is to help catch those not allowed repeat appeals. The form page is clear that requests for information about the ban, such as the reason why, will be ignored. Bungie is the game developer, it does not sell the game directly. Therefore any refunds would be the responsibility of the platform from which the expansion was preordered from, and be subject to their policies.
