Why no pre-download?
As the title says, allow us to download the update between now and Tuesday - prevents your servers being hammered - permit the last 10mb (required key) to be released at Zero Hrs Tuesday and we’re good to go….

Idk what you're expecting but you know how destiny has ALWAYS worked right? You download in the maintenance window if it's quite big, or at launch if it's a small update, it's a live always online game with 1 active patch, you can't pre download & it's NOT an expansion & it won't be very big. You guys are expecting things that aren't happening, a few SRL maps & a few leviathan raid boss rooms, everything else is just quality of life & sandbox, it'll only be like 5-7gb, if that.

4 RepliesServers get hammered because everyones logging in at the same time. Predownload wont prevent that, if anything it will make it worse

Probably a back end thing as it requires extra steps through the service providers end I'm sure... Just an "update" and probably not worth the extra bits... the fire is going to be seen from space on the 9th I'm sure....
