Hello,
I’m writing to ask about eligibility for the Old Lights emblem.
According to the information shared, the emblem will be awarded to players whose account recorded any amount of playtime in each Destiny 2 expansion year, from the Red War year through The Year of Prophecy.
My situation is a bit unusual. I played Destiny 2 during the first year on Battle.net, back when the game was still available there. Later, I moved to PlayStation 4, but at that time cross-save was not available yet, so I had to continue on a different profile/account.
If both of my profiles are taken into account, I have playtime in every listed Destiny 2 period:
Destiny 2 / Red War year
Forsaken
Shadowkeep
Beyond Light
The Witch Queen
Lightfall
The Final Shape
The Year of Prophecy
Because cross-save did not exist when I moved from Battle.net to PlayStation, I did not really have a way to keep everything under one single account at that time. From my point of view, this still represents continuous Destiny 2 participation across all these years, even though the playtime is split between two profiles due to the platform/account limitations that existed back then.
Could you please confirm whether I will still be eligible to receive the Old Lights emblem in this case? If needed, I can provide details for both accounts/profiles so that the playtime history can be checked.
I would really appreciate clarification, as I have been playing Destiny 2 since the very beginning and it would mean a lot to receive this veteran reward.

I doubt you'll be eligible.

Man I hope they can get you sorted...

Your accounts would have had to been linked. https://x.com/destiny2team/status/2062654362795602169?s=46

It’s per profile/account. Unfortunately it sounds like you won’t meet the criteria. I had something similar with the prometheus lens crucible emblem. I missed the criteria by 3 hours on my main (this) account. But met the criteria on my alt account (that I haven’t used in ages) so have it there.
