Our "cool new ability" is a void melee that won't work in PvP and will do about 1/10th of a health bar in PvE. Our abilities received 13 adjustments.
Titan gets a throwable bubble and 20 adjustments. Hunter gets a sweet melee charge that'll no doubt one shot multiple players in PvP and 23 total adjustments.
Couldn't even give us warlocks a proper send off. Thank you.

2 RepliesEdited by Rainbine 9545: 6/5/2026 5:36:46 PMPersonally I’m fine with this, as I main all of them I really wanted to find a new build for prismatic warlock rather then the pve op build I understand some may like that, me I want to feel like I’m constantly moving, using abilities and shooting my weapons like I’m lighting rather then sitting still I love my arc build with all three aspects rather then just having one “aspect” (exotic) for arc with devour and spamming the buddy build and the new aspects look rather fun.. can’t wait to consume the enemies I face with my abilities as a warlock

1 ReplyPersonally all I really want to see it more melee buffs for warlock but seeing how the only real melee option is spirit of syntos and winters for real damage boosts karnestiens was good to have better healing on glaive until the nerf it was fun maybe if they revert the nerf to that it would be nice but technically you can do that with solar with the cure affect with the fragment

4 RepliesAlways have - I will say this as I've always said it; light 3.0 literally took and distributed warlocks main abilities to the other classes with hardly getting anything in return. The result? Panic towards their purpose which was half baked with souls/buddy builds. Destiny 1 warlocks never had nor needed any of that to be viable or fun. For any souls/buddy/construct It's a gross oversight of laziness and a similar problem like titans "shoulder charge" but in different elements argument but magnified. Not to mention the difference in philosophy of the other two classes, their kit and how abilities work. On warlock you generally have to go through multiple processes in order to be optimal or efficient with abilities whereas titan/hunter is generally more immediate payoff, requires less or overall just hits harder. Examples? Instant shatter or dedicated detonation with stasis for Titan/hunter warlock has to manually shatter. And that's for a whole subclass. I could provide more but I don't want the post long. Tl:dr - warlocks are always shafted vs other two classes bc the design philosophy considering abilities and there roles therein, furthered by a lack of what's NECESSARY to round them out comparatively, meanwhile the other classes got more bc light 3.0 in potency/survivability meanwhile locks severely lack what the other classes have; damage/potency - not add clear, not setups.

2 RepliesI have to agree, kinda crazy they shipped a moveable barricade with detonation as if that isn't op. Even scorching rounds being added to rally barricade as utility/aoe/status effect. Meanwhile it took a decade just for rift placement to to be able to move while placing rift. We don't even get a lingering timer for empowering rift. Knowing damn well movement is critical in endgame, but a barricade can just tank damage and continue dps.

Edit: I mean come on the Bubble rework still is worse than the original bubble we had 3 years ago. Only 25% buff INSIDE the bubble, still takes 20x more damage from bosses and gets one shot by ALL stomps in endgame activities, it no longer blinds with s14, the overshield is still reduced from 400 to 45, and the cooldown is like 2x what it used to be. All this and we get the ability to throw it twice, weaken on enemies inside, still requires an exotic for its good effects, and slight synergy with the shield throw melee which now can bounce 6 times in the shield instead of 3. I feel like getting the ability to toss nova bomb, then toss nova bomb lance, and if you hit your nova bomb cataclysm with a lance it creates a more powerful version of the vortex bomb + still spawns seekers is going to be way more helpful. Edit 2: Btw mentioning numbers is the best way to show you don't know balance. Rn Warlocks trump Titans and Hunters COMPLETELY! Warlocks best dps do almost 2x more than Hunters and about 2.5X more than a Titan. Their adclearing is so much better than both it's not even worth comparing. And the only time a Warlock loses in surviveability is Stronghold with Praxic which is getting a nerf meaning Warlocks will once again be the best at it. Warlocks are the king of everything of course they're gonna get the least amount of buffs. Hell most of the buffs Titans and Hunters got were honestly quite small to the point it wouldn't surprise me if day 1 Pantheon is 1 Hunter for the debuff then 5 Warlocks for dps and ad clearing.

By the end of the first month the best classes and builds will rise to the top, after that, those will be the only ones people will play. In PVP it will be like fighting clones. In PVE it will be a clone strike force. My regret is I just started playing D1 about a month ago and it will become a ghost town until people have their fill of the last D2 update.

1 ReplyI wish they give the self res back. Simple solution would be pve only. Just used grenades part on PvP and bit stronger shield in PvP. Otherwise I'm still never changing mine

1 ReplyI feel your pain as a Warlock (main). I have whinged so much they're Space Wizards not healers that I've gotten bored of my own moaning and moved on to playing the 3 characters. Warlocks were over nerfed years ago. Some good news, i read an article from PC gamer on MSN this morning that was an interview with Alison, apparently changes to Skull of Dire Ahamkara will allow Warlocks to explode their Void Nova Bomb where they want it to. No more stray supers missing. Also Warlock Strand has a new ability essentially another Turret, Stasis Grenade and Arc damage increases with all Supers damage being reduced on all Classes in PVE. The one good thing about the new Void melee is it should work with Prismatic, the Titan abilities are either kill or damage activated, plus pushing a barrier across the floor means it can be jumped over/avoided. I know it's been rough but in reality Warlocks are needed in a Fireteam. ✌
