Are some of y'all ok?
So I decided to scroll the forums for gits and shiggles, and oh my holy lord...
I knew you people were a contentious bunch but this is a new level of pettiness I don't even see from the die hard PVP'rs.
Will the petition work? Maybe, maybe not. Will the high player turnout on June 9th work? Maybe, maybe not. Will D3, or some equivalent of same happen? Maybe, maybe not.
That's said, how is it, that simply saying "I'm making my voice heard." stirs such vitriol in some of you? For heavens sake it's not like they are toilet papering your house, it's just people hoping for something that in no way affects you whatsoever. If this is the end I will accept it, but let's not squash others who want something they like to be continued in one form or another.

Ignore the negative, miserable people. Same thing applies in life. There are plenty of attention seekers and manchildren in the games and these forums. Engaging them just makes them feel validated. Starve them of attention and they'll just move on to annoy someone else. Plain and simple.

Signing or not signing doesn't determine who loves Destiny more. For me I have been playing destiny long before June 9th & will still be here playing long after until its true death. This petition thing I'm sorry that I don't agree with it & if you hate me that much for not supporting it that's your choice. Maintenance Mode is not the "End of Destiny"

1 ReplyD3 will never happen. 500 million 7-8 years to build it. Sorry, it won't happen. Maybe, with enough people playing, they might not abandon D2 completely and provide newer balancing and fixes or maybe add all the older guns and armor from wayyyyyy before into the game in the next 1-3 years. Eventually... it'll be like D1 last year. Like almost nobody playing it.

1 ReplyNothing wrong with it, but a lot of these 'making my voice heard' people have already done that. They did it when they stopped playing the game. In a lot of those cases, gladly and proudly saying so, and wishing ill will on the game and bungie as they left. Including a lot of the content creators. That's why I find all this rallying hilarious and fake. If people really cared about the game/franchise like they say, they would've kept playing it here and there. At the least, they wouldn't have broadcast how they weren't playing it anymore nor wished ill will on the game/bungie cause they weren't happen with some of the decisions. With that said, I'm just stating my opinion on the situation. It doesn't bother me. Shout from the mountaintop people. I'll just continue playing the game till the servers are turned off.

1 ReplyNot for nothing, but when have Bungie ever really listened or cared what the majority of the community thinks or feels? Sony gave them a shot and Bungie blew it. From a business standpoint, if you gave someone 3 billion dollars and they squandered it while firing half the staff, would you continue to invest or pull the plug? I had fun for a few years, but can't throw money at the screen for them anymore. The opinions of those opposing Bungie are just as valid as those in support. The game has run its course and it's time to move on.

8 RepliesBut do they really like D2? If so why are they not playing? Everyone is like oh, they are just hoping for the best, what they want, what they dream of... Truth be told, no one actually wants the devs who wrecked D2 to build D3, or continue to support and update D2. The players ENMASS have elected to avoid the game for the last year plus, WHY? Simple answer is that we are not happy with what the development team has been doing. Making the last update have some of the most sought after QOL fixes and improvements, does not mean the dev team is on board with totally changing direction and to think otherwise is foolishness. If a few people can't handle the truth and get their panties is a wad and call it vitriol, no sweat, I am just making my voice heard like everyone else. We are all entitled to our opinions. Mine is that if Bungie and Sony cave and make a D3, I will not be purchasing it. I would not trust a thing coming from this studio. If they turned it around and started making some world class games again, maybe, but not right now. Call it mean, call it bad, call it whatever and down vote me, OK. I still do not trust Bungie at this point.

And they said it would not change anything , yet all these streamers and their fanboys are going along with that petition nonsense . 😂 The streamers used that what was broken untill it got nerfed and then left to play other games , they only came back to promote that what was new to get paid for it and leave as soon as they can to go promote other games and now all of a sudden they "care" about destiny 2 ??? 😂😂😂 Streamers really are a joke on its own man ..

But on the flip there's a lot of people that only just now feel the movement is worth it to even attempt because of all the letdowns is a beautiful thing... And the movement that's making waves even outside of the game is pulling fresh eyes and opinions... This will be gaming history good or bad and that's becoming more obvious and the repercussions will be far reaching even behind closed doors... Post ...
