Cheaters are rampant
in pvp idk about pve because i only play pve ovc but i noticed a large noticeable of fresh acs look up 9.0 s b4 match getting shot through walls and smhow anti-cheat dosent detect it. i think we need a new/improve anti-cheat not for d2 future but for other bungie games marathon/future games. I know a lot of peole said cheaters use a chip of somesort idk if any of that can get detected or implemented into the current or improved/new anti-cheat.
Last thing i will say is as a gaming community we got to a point where so many ppl cheat 4 no given reason at least back in the day the cheaters had a reason. It will be rough waters in terms of pvp for d2 even after major update comes out but hopefully the future of the anti-cheat will be brighter and stronger

It's probably some bungo management team that sits 500 feet away from his screen to spot cheaters, that's why it's so bad lol, but it does say battleye, so maybe he has a patch on one eye. Anti cheat will never work properly, to bungo it just sounds good, it just doesn't do anything.

The hacker then one shot ever boss, soloed the vault encounter by them self rezzing, solo dunked the heart of riven in 5s after 1 shooting riven. Was streaming on twitch had to delete the vod due to ToS and liability issues due to it. It's not just pvp it's everywhere, and not just destiny but also marathon. Sony is fed up with it and almost certain that it's also a reason the game is no longer getting supported, because bungies security has been compromised across all their games. Sony owns the company and IP so they are doing what they see as necessary to devolve from the cheater epidemic. Sony also going back to exclusivity and playstation first, in the future I'm expecting if D3 does come it will be exclusive to PS5 or PS6.

4 RepliesI agree. I play PvP lots, although I’ve played quite a fair amount of really good players, I have noticed some questionable things. I’m on console ps5. Seen stuff like potential Mouse and keyboard on console, possible XIM/ Chronos Zen usage.

Cheating is especially bad in our culture at the moment. I hope legal action is taken against offenders and they end up in jail or owing money. On the other hand... I don't think cheating on console is that bad. At the very least, "legit" players still win all the time. I believe the future of cheating is going to be AI vs AI. Company's detect AI versus Cheater's aim bot AI. These are scary times

Let's just say after the last update they cheaters are going to go rampant on trials and any other pvp mode including pve. Bungo won't do nothing now since it's the end for D2

I'll be glad to do something besides Control once the update drops. I'm having more fun in PvP because the population is steadily increasing but I do notice some weird stuff going on. Part of it is the connection and then you have weapons that are just way overtuned. Honestly I'm just....done complaining about the cheaters. Is it frustrating? You bet your buns it is. Especially if you run across it in Trials. But it's time to just kick back and take whatever comes. In the end this will just get worse. This game has one good update left and then it'll be time to wean ourselves off.
