Obviously we can tell what was holding the devs back. The fact they can put all this in a major update without a campaign/expansion to go with it is crazy. If this kind of update was provided in one of the last two expansions and the portal was never implemented (especially the way it was) this game would have brought in much better reception and numbers. The edge of Fate campaign was actually good (outside of Mattermorph), which I think was a tad too much involved in the campaign missions. I was looking forward to the Fate Saga and how this could have been adapted. Just ridiculous how a game like Destiny is being treated and mishandled. There truly is no game like Destiny and probably never will be. Destiny does not have any true competition that matches the gameplay (raids, PvP, dungeons, etc). And no other game has the gunplay that bungie creates. It’s been that way since the days of ole Halo. Let’s hope the outcry and support can bring Destiny back to life whether that could be the Destiny Infinity or Destiny 3.
