Best Update Ever.
Thank you for making this update, regardless of whether it was to late or not, I'm glad to have left feedback for some of these things to have finally been brought to fruition.
Destiny 2 is going out with a Bang and happy to see it get the love it deserves on this final update for everyone to enjoy one last ride.
To all who have left feedback and perused these forums to bring ideas to make destiny 2 the best it can be i salute you all.
June 9th is going to be a blast 🫡🍻

16 RepliesIF by best you mean a ton of stuff to grind for in a dead game, than yeah, it is OK. Nerfs were not needed, as the game is dead and -blam!- cares if something is a little too powerful. The portal stuff is still there, not completely gone and some rewards are still tied to the portal. Champion mods change was idiotic. Now we have to pay attention to weapon type, instead of making it supper simple, one mod for all champions, put it on a weapon, any weapon and it works in all activities, on all champions and requires ZERO build adjustments. Run what you like, but that would be simple, easy, direct, fun. Even at the end Bungie has a thing against make the game easy, fun and engaging.

4 RepliesAre they bringing back the content they pulled out? The best way to send this game off would be to let us access everything and give us the opportunity to acquire everything. Have a universal artifact that allows to you get 12 points worth of every perk ever made In the game for the artifacts. This game would still be playable for years to come if they did that. But they don’t want it to be. They want us to play marathon and I’m not playing that garbage.

There’s some decent stuff, for sure. But there are some brutal nerfs, as well, that are really pointless for a final update. But it’s whatever. I havent played in 3 or 4 months, which is the longest break In the 12ish years ive been playing destiny… so ill probably hop on for the update and play for a week or two, then move on.

5 RepliesI’m sorry but the inbox being implemented makes zero sense. You didn’t HAVE to put it in there. Because putting it in leaves the question, “How long do you plan to use it? If access is indefinite, why is it indefinite?” If it’s only for a short time that seems pointless and puts a forever stain on the game. Just a constant reminder of what could’ve been. My point is leaving a communication line within the game tells me that it’s going to be utilized in the future. Otherwise it’s unnecessary embarrassment. This is a copium filled theory so please don’t yell at me like I’m serious. It genuinely makes my head hurt.

It is just a sandbox change and Vendor update, with the addition of letting us use any artifact we want, Sparrow racing league, Pantheon and Bright engram focusing. So all in all it is a standard update with some extra ok additions. Also wouldn't the best update be that weapons will drop with random rolls ?

2 RepliesIt's about time this version of Destiny ended anyhow. It's barely even a looter "shooter" any more when you hardly even use actual GUNS these days. It ran it's course and hopefully we can repopulate these games with sherpas and newcomers to build the fanbase and community back up since there are no more carrots and levels to chase. The pace was relentless at times and we lost alot along the way. This is a perfect opportunity to reach back, 'pay it forward' and help those who have been unable to complete some of the best content in the game. Some games last way beyond their content life cycle and I think, now that the in-game rat race is winding down, this community has the potential to refocus on building each other up and helping others to experience it in the best light as well. It aint over fam.

As someone who got back into D2 late and havent really had a group to play with I think it would have been cool if they put dungeon and raid weapons in the Xur rotation though. Would have been fun to finally get to try them out.
