Join code does not work
As stated in the title my join code does not work unless you are in my friends list or clan. If anyone tries to search my guardian my emblem and name will appear however it will say I am offline.
The issue persists when I tried on my brother's PC, however if he logs in on mine there is no issue for his account. I want to start sherpaing raids again however this makes it a royal pain in the -blam!- and has been an issue for me since around the time of beyond light.
People can freely join me in Marathon and ive never had an issue with people joining me in other steam games.

If other players can only join you when they are on your friends list or in your clan, please first double-check that your Fireteam Privacy is set to Public and that your Steam status is not set to Invisible or Appear Offline.
