How do I unlink my steam account from my bungie account
I had previously linked a steam account to my bungie for destiny2 but I no longer use this steam account and I have been playing marathon on a different one. I want to link my current steam account to my bungie but I am unable to unlink the old even though I have authenticated all accounts and have disabled cross save

As EckyThump mentioned following the account [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025]unlinking update[/url] introduced on March 25, 2025, only twitch accounts can be unlinked from bungie profiles. All other platform accounts, once linked, are permanently associated and cannot be removed. As account linking is managed directly by players, we’re unable to unlink account or make changes on a player’s behalf. Because of this, the account in question will remain linked.

1 ReplyHey there, as of March 2025 it is no longer possible to unlink platform accounts from Bungie Accounts, so unfortunately there is no way to remove the old Steam account in order to link the new one.
