Unable to change Fireteam from closed
My brother and I are trying to play Destiny 1 again together. Our games do not show fireteam settings in the roster tab. We tried to follow the instructions we found online about settings in our XBox profiles, but ours don't look like the samples shown and don't have those settings for us to update for the game. How can we play together? Thank you for your time! <3 Eevee

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out. If you’re playing Destiny 1 on Xbox and your Fireteam is stuck as Closed, the most likely cause is that the Xbox account being used is not being recognized as having the required multiplayer privileges or subscription for Fireteams. Please try the following: - Make sure both of you are signed into the correct Xbox profiles and that each account has an active multiplayer subscription. - Sign out of the Xbox profile, sign back in, and fully restart the console before launching Destiny again. - If the subscription is active but Destiny still shows the Fireteam as Closed, try restoring licenses and checking with Xbox Support to make sure the multiplayer entitlement is correctly applied to the account.
