I will be polite as I possibly can. Everything you are doin in that TWAB is everything we want you to do for Destiny 2... I'm not being mean when I say this I am just stating facts. More people want to play Destiny 2 than Marathon. I understand Sony sunk millions into Marathon but it will never get them the return they want. You know what will? Destiny 2.... I beg you. Stop trying to push Marathon. It's over. Sponsored kit modes are just you turning the game into a Deathmatch rather than an Extraction Shooter. We already have PvP. It's called Destiny 2. It feels 1,000 times better. You learned Marathon is hard to get into when your Destiny 2 New Light experience has been failing for years. Sponsored kits artificially create a floor and if you can just get handed stuff the loot in the map starts to lose value. This isn't good for longevity. You're blaming long queue times on too many queues???? YOU DON'T HAVE PLAYERS. At least be honest with us. We're not stupid and can see through every bs line. Then you go on to talk about the future. What future?! This game isn't going to be here by this time next year. It won't be here by the end of the year. I'm not saying this to be mean. I just don't think you understand the situation so I am repeating the truth. You are putting weaker players with sweats?! Do you understand that won't go well?? You already stated that the entry point is very difficult. What do you think is going to happen when little Timmy wants to try the game out and runs into Sweaty Sam? Timmy dies in two seconds, turns the game off and uninstalls. That's just facts. You aren't even working on the new player experience in Season 2. So it's still hard to get into and now when you do you have to sweat it out with try hards. WHO IN THE WORLD IS MAKING THESE DECISIONS????????? YOU KEEP PUSHING TEAMS WHEN 75% OF THE PEOPLE WHO PLAY YOUR GAME WANT TO PLAY SOLO! Seriously my head hurts every time this company makes decisions. I want no one to lose their jobs. I don't want to see games fail. That said I won't sit idle and watch you ignore the BETTER GAME. Joe actually said 2027 and you won't even get out of 2026. Please, for your devs, for your company, for your job, listen to your LONG TIME DEDICATED community. Abandon Marathon. We all know it won't succeed. Invest HEAVILY in to Destiny 2. Get the content rolling again and you'll see 50/60,000 on Steam playing Destiny 2. Otherwise you are doomed. Marathon game won't blow up, it will slowly wither, fans will roast you, journalists will criticize you, and if you wait too long Destiny 2 will die along with it. DO THE RIGHT THING EDIT: I want to be clear. I don't hate Marathon. It has a niche market but I don't think it's good enough to carry Bungie into the future. Destiny 2 is good enough. One solid DLC and the game is back.
