You promised us a renewed focus on the Crucible—a future of maps and movement—and instead, you gave us a decade of silence and a pathetic attempt to resurrect Marathon. ​We saw what you did. You tried to skin a 1990s Macintosh classic to chase Apex Legends trends while the game that actually built your studio bled out in the dirt. ​Here is why your "Golden Age" ended: ​The Great Stagnation: You slowed the pace, gutted the ability loops, and choked the special ammo economy until the "power fantasy" felt like a desk job. ​The Cartography of Nothing: Ten years. No maps. You wonder why your player count plummeted from 300,000 to a handful of ghosts? It’s because you stopped listening to the people in the trenches. ​The Vault of Spite: I never deleted my gear. I kept my vault as a trophy case of your failures. I knew you’d walk back "sunsetting" because it was the most brain-dead, anti-player executive decision in the history of the genre.
