Player crashed my game and corrupted my game file.

So this is a first for me. I loaded up a strike and immediately had a player called "Juice kell of world". It took a few seconds but he started blasting bass boosted music then suddenly my game crashed with an error beginning with an M (can't remember the exact one). Upon reloading im back on the installing destiny 2 screen. Now whilst writing this I just got beagle error telling me the game content is now unreadable and I have to reinstall. Has anyone else encountered this? How is a player able to do this . Im actually scared to restart my pc because if a player can corrupt my game file what if they have done more been as the game is on my boot drive. Anyone else had this because this is an extreme exploit.

Hey there, was it a Marmot error? That, and a subsequent Beagle error is usually caused by corrupt temporary files. Do not use the verify integrity thing on Steam, see if the fixes in this thread help any -> https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/14hfnrm/error_code_beagle/
