Mint Retrograde needs to be buffed
Mint Retrograde seriously needs a buff in Destiny 2. The weapon looks great and has a solid concept, but its damage and overall performance just don’t compete with other options in the current sandbox. It feels weak in both PvE and PvP, especially when compared to newer weapons with better perk pools and stronger stats. A small damage increase, improved recoil control, or access to stronger perk combinations could make it actually worth using again. Right now it just sits in the vault while better weapons dominate every activity. Bungie should give Mint Retrograde some attention and make it viable again.

You have to be joking, rocket pulse rifles are the one of if not the best DPS specials in the game , Bungie only nerfed reserve soo you have built to ammo generation and use it wisely, peace ✌️

Try using vaseline intensive, or olive oil, all that dry rubbing has made you go blind

It’s extremely strong compared to most specials. It’s just that the Praxic Blade is OP especially with the current artifact mods.

It's one of the strongest weapons in the game. The problem is the praxic blade. Anything compared to that is pretty week. (Not requesting a nerf - i understand its the main seasonal weapon)

The -blam!- PvE activities do you play buddy? 😆 Mint is strong, leave it. You can't even get it atm outside of Hawthorne bounties (idk). Just bc you have -blam!- perks doesn't mean it needs buffed.

1 ReplyThey just need to increase the amount of ammo it carries. It was super strong when it first came out but Bungie, in their infinite wisdom, decided to nerf it's ammo count.

Mint has been relevant like a long time ago, but not any more. But it's still a good pve weapon, if you have a good roll.

1 ReplyTheres only 2 rocket pulses in the game and granted psi aterna has access to accelerated assault their pretty identical in the perk department. At best it just needs a better ammo economy, but that can go for most micro-missle weapons except the gls
