I'm assuming you mean the Aspect Touch of Thunder..... Here's the deal- Ionic Traces are the single best elemental pickup in the game. They give you Class, Melee & Grenade energy. With the fragment Spark of Discharge, they also give you Bolt Charge. They are far more oriented around DOT, and their damage escalates over time. Here is my build around Pulse Grenades. Mind you, the 'Grenadier' modifier was active at the time. There was a point in the strike I had FIVE Pulse Grenades active. Regening almost as fast as I could throw them! I will say that IF you have two pieces of Iron Panopoly set from Iron Banner, it is the PERFECT addition to Arc Titan. Gives it some quality survivability it otherwise lacks.

For pve pulse nades imo are better since the aspect that boosts them lets them drop ionic traces giving you more ability energy. Lightning nades are decent but really hard to line up and can be destroyed. The free jolting the aspect gives is nice since it frees up a fragment slot. For pvp it depends on the map like jav 4 or convergence lightning nades are really good at getting clean up kills due to the long reach and tight corners with flat surfaces. Pulse nades have more flexibility allowing them to be used more often and good area denial. With both of you land it right and run the fragment that lets arc nades jolt you can get a team wipe if 4 or more stack on a flag since jolt will clean them up nicely. Harder with a pulse nade but do able. If you want to meme out the storm nade is a funny option to use since the aspect lets it track and move. It’s not as good when it first launched but it has surprised me a few times i think it’s worth considering. Hope this helps you out. Good luck on the build
