There is little worthwhile about this game anymore.
(Edit: I should have posted this as “Time to delete?” I did reinstall an hour later, like any good addict, then went cold turkey an hour after that. Time to find a new game.)

1 ReplyGo play Elden Ring: Nightreign brah

1 ReplyI've been having a lot of fun playing Aliens Fireteam (it's janky but fun), WWZ (Again, janky but loads of fun), Warframe (They've made it a bit less grindy and less sweaty on Steel Path), Darktide (Super intense game but SO satisfying once you get into it), and Starship Troopers Extermination (Major jank, get it on a good sale and remember: Guns don't have range because the federation makes their bullets out of cardboard for some reason).

Edited by FENIX: 5/10/2026 1:37:20 AMGood job. Even though it's an obvious lie lmfao

If you're interested, you can try The Division. Different game but might scratch the itch

Not worth the hard drive space

1 ReplyI’m winding down now. Think I’m going to look at other ways to waste my free time 😂. Had a good run but just making the same enemies in exactly the same activity harder and harder to damage doesn’t increase the joy of the game experience. Shame I can’t sell all my gear I’ve collected on EBay or something.

The gun shooting mechanics are still great and why I keep playing myself even though I quit buying their continued content after Final Shape. So in a way I quit a long time ago. Shills are upset seeing people call this game out. They are going to stalk us to call us out for their own b.s. Just ignore them.

I haven't deleted it yet but since I got crimson desert I'm so busy I don't even think about destiny anymore. Only played a little of iron banner and that's it

1 ReplyEdited by TRON VADER: 5/10/2026 5:05:25 PMMe too game deleted......not .....lol, I just walk aways and kick something then come back. I also find that when frustrated I go and do something productive, yard work, clean the garage, take a shower, you know the stuff we did before we lived in the basement and got doped up.

Im just here once a week or so till pvp is too under populated to find a match. Gonna be rough finding a new non hero shooter, non extraction shooter/battle royal that doesn't die after a month though. Too many ppl trying to skip the making a good game step and jumping straight to micro transaction hell. Crimson desert is great though, gives me dragons dogma vibes.

Haven't played since the beginning of Feb and I have so much free time to do better things. All I have left are memories of the good times, that's how the game dies for me.

Edited by Mark, Scholar of Stars: 5/10/2026 1:56:41 PMMaybe one should be honest and admit that Bungie seriously abandoned Destiny 2 in hope for Marathon being a success. Like so often some few at Bungie set everything on one card and lost. They didn't lose a quarter of their value for nothing. How long they relaxed on their glory of the original Destiny. Copied content of Destiny into -2, just to remove and resell it again later abstracted in Destiny 2. All with the blessing of a devoted community. And how does the game look today? Like an abandoned job site. How heartless does someone have to be to execute like this? Playing a game is passion, and for a development like that, you need heart. But that's something Bungie lost on its way a long time ago... Edit: Plus, the whole negativity Bungie's agenda produced over the years because of the one-sided development. Marathon couldn't shake that off. Foresight goes differently.

1 ReplyThe sad thing is Bungie delayed the next dlc but isn't really fixing anything. They are adding re issue weapons chase and raid/dungeon game mode. The problem is the portal and the gameplay it created SUCKS. Re issued loot will not fix it. Game play loop needs to go back to pre portal. Then maybe but it is also easy not to play when you don't play haven't played.

I've simply stopped playing, I log in each reset in case there is something worth my BD then log out. I'll keep an eye on news and may take up arms again if I think it's worth trying in June but if not there are plenty of other games worth my time.

1 ReplyNo titan no cry.

I stopped playing 4-5 months ago. When they shut everything down it won’t matter to me. They ruined a great game.
-
Hey my brother I looked you up. You never did a raid or anything. Sorry for that my brother.

25 RepliesDelete your chars and I'll give you a cookie.

I deleted Destiny 2 in March (I think) and installed it again now because of the recent news. It's far away from an optimal state—I doubt it will ever be again, but it's still Destiny with its gunplay. Let's see how long it will even be.

1 ReplyEdited by Northern: 5/10/2026 4:38:24 AMIt's been garbage since TFS. The forums however continue to provide entertainment 😆

5 RepliesI stopped playing when everything i bought no longer exists in the game.
-
4 RepliesChars still there. See you in June.
-
4 RepliesIt is pretty funny that you got called out and then set your profile to private, but aside from that, why do you guys always feel the need to post about leaving the game?
-
Ok. 👍 See you in 15 min. After lunch.
