That's where the timeline diverged to madness... Unfortunately creating a time machine to fix it would create a paradox. The prime timeline never invested in creating a time machine because they never needed it to go back and fix -blam!-

Harambe died for your sins and my sins

1 ReplyIt is a historical marker for multiple generations. From the surviving Boomers all the way to the Zillennials (or Zennials) The micro-generation born on the cusp of Millennials and Gen Z, typically between 1993 and 1998. Life changed in many ways right after that incident. Inexplicable but true. Before that people could point to the attack on the World Trade Center for things changing a lot in the US. Being able to meet friends and family at the gate in an airport, not having a security check at entertainment venues such as Disneyland. America became a much more paranoid country after that. But Harambe… before Harambe kids used to ride their bikes around their neighborhood without adult supervision. Movies, comics, games, so many things just started to go downhill. People socialized in person more often. Not everything can be blamed on the virus and subsequent lockdown. Not the enshitification of entertainment at least. But it was only a couple of months later that Ghostbusters 2016 was released, the beginning of the end.

Sadly it's a fixed point in time.
