Not necessarily on that day, but by then we'll know if the future looks good or if Sony decided to put D2 in maintenance mode.
I think they're legally obligated per the terms of the license many bought. That cutoff, at the latest, is July 15 — when EoF launched.
Good news or bad, I'm here for it.
July 15th was the expected end of this year's cycle and we have not received 3/4's of the content originally promised for that cycle.
Thus, I believe Sony is legally obligated to update those terms by July 15th.

18 RepliesEdited by STiNKyWizLTeaTs: 5/8/2026 5:24:01 PMIt is Friday, so I have time to run through the numbers with you again. Losing an average of 100M in value every month at an accelerating pace while still paying salaries (it was about 64M a month and now has grown to 188M a month). This is 2M a day, and you haven't even turned a light on or wrote a paycheck. The thing everyone forgets is that you still have ongoing costs. The bills do not stop coming... ever. The aspect you fail to see is that there is more money going out the door than is coming in. In essence, you are running yourself into the ground.

2 RepliesBungie is done. Full stop. Sony will fully absorb them and shut them down. Sony has done it to zipper why not Bungie.

5 RepliesThe reason the major update was moved to June was likely because it's within a year from the launch and the Reward Pass is part of the current year.

2 RepliesSony won't do anything. They left D2 in Bungies hand because Bungie has mastered the art of Live service games. According to Sony. Also the June update is a joke. Like i don't use these Raids and Dungeon weapons now, so why would i care when they get the enhance treatment ? The biggest thing seems to be that Gambit gets its loot pool updated.
