How is possible for players to survive warlock supers? They are hit with the melee, then the wisp the another melee and even though they combust they are not defeated. It’s basically not doing any damage. I’ve encountered multiple players that seem to be completely immune to the super and to combusting even though the animation and combust sounds occur.

Edited by GetSpaghett: 5/5/2026 2:22:46 PMSupers, I'm not sure. Possibly not a direct hit and some ground geometry playing some shenanigans. As for combustion, I've learned the hard way that combustion does pitifully low damage to the target that is combusting in pvp. It's like, only 13 damage or something super low (less than 60 iirc). Collateral targets take alot, but the initial target is likely to be fine unless they're already low. At least that's how it was back when I was trying to toy with pvp combustion.

1 ReplyBecause they are Destiny Top Players. They survive everything. And for them shooting at you is the same like you playing CoD hardcore.

Use crowd control. Stasis and strand are personally the 2 subclasses I hate going against when I’m using super. You could also just go void hunter and panic ult with the tethers, those always to work. So you can fight a super with a super, or use crowd control. Idk where you guys get the idea that warlocks are suddenly god tier, they literally haven’t been changed in years.

I double tap dodge. Go invisible, and then I run away because my luck is im the guardian they see and immediately pop on. Rip.
