So a lot of people seems to have like the Explorer mode difficulty that was introduced in the Rite of the Nine event. I know this was a long time ago now.
It got me thinking. In Pinnacle ops we have some Dungeon encounters as activities, what if instead we hade the entire dungeons but in the forms of the Explorer mode. This would help new people get used to both the Dungeons and its mechanics, and dealing with bosses and ads at the same time.
It could also be a great way of learning how to do the dungeon solo. Safer way to try different builds and load outs, swapping in between encounters and even during add clear and boss damage.
Make a new mode called tutorial or something like that and have the dungeons in there.
As it is now it is just a confusing addition and worse yet is that there is no matchmaking for these.
An easier way would be to just add this as a difficulty when selecting a dungeon the normal way.
But this would give more use to the Portal.

1 Replywhile I liked it myself, I have a worry with how the portal is setup. If they do implement it into the portal, it is probably gonna be heavily punishing with all the modifiers they try to shove down our throats for a mediocre reward. If it is modifier free but scaling power levels based on difficulty selected, then I am perfectly fine with it. But keep the modifiers out of it. Modifiers already make the rest of the game frustrating, don't need that added to dungeons.
