Bungie. We know your leaders promised Sony a lot. We know you’re going to do everything you can to prevent Marathon’s death, but come on. DESTINY 2 is your bread and butter. Imagine how amazing this game could be if you had put all that money and time into D3. I’m already back to playing it after a two month break even though there’s not much being added. The core gameplay is infinitely better than anything currently on the market. I just wanna play this game and have a reason to keep coming back. Marathon’s in the tank within the next 2 months. I’m not overreacting either. Streamers are moving on and it’s not a casual game. Take almost everyone off of it and start cooking D3 or a massive, game changing update for D2. Destiny is “dead” and yet Marathon only has 11,000 more right now. 18,000 to 7,000. That’s your current Steam player base, 25,000. Destiny 2 use to average peaks of 90-100,000. Bite the bullet, stop working on Marathon, finish the updates you have planned, move EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING BACK TO YOUR BEST MONEY MAKER. D2. Then Marathon in maintenance, D2 gets massive update with everything back, portal gone, then start working on D3.
