Finally uninstalled
Gave up waiting for Bungie to wake up, and uninstalled the game. Sad day...
This is what happens when they ignore the majority of the player's and only listen to the top/elite players. This is what happens when they hold summits for streamers and content creators thinking these people represent us. These people do not have regular full-time jobs and a family/house to keep up on that takes up the majority of their days (They have families and a home but I bet their partner handles the large majority of the adulting), a lot of them don't even do the editing and thumbnails for their own videos, how could they represent us regular working class?!
I LOVED Destiny, but watched it slowly die as Bungie became more and more disconnected from their player base. They took the money they got from the players and blew it on REDICULOUS things rather than put it back into the game, ignored the majority of the players. They spent so much on supporting agendas and a SMALL fraction of that into supporting their game. Let cheaters overrun the game, broken code and bugs, recycled content, and still charged the players top dollar for the scraps of content and recycled things we already paid for. If they were decent long time players that lost paid content should have gotten discounts. Where did my red war campaign go, my forsaken campaign and all the other things that added the meat and potatoes to the plate, instead we have the butter and nothing else. The long weeks/months of silence, and broken promises.
This is what happens when you feel you are always right, and that everyone is being foolish. This is what happens when you get political and focus so much to an agenda. You are a business, have your individual allegiances and ideals but getting political is a business killer. Don't even get me started on you pulling you game out of Russia, the only people you are affecting are the innocent civilians who are trying to have an escape and an outlet for stress like the rest of us (I'll probably get banned for that because I spoke against your "heroic" stance). All of the people I have met in this world, former Military and just traveling, we are all the same. You should NEVER hold the many guilty for the acts of the few, but Bungie has fallen out of the grasps of reality and continue to slip further. I will miss what Destiny was, and try to not think about what it has become. Take care all and be safe.

1 ReplyRussia is an interesting point you bring up. Literally what do the gamers have to do with any of it . I’m pretty sure taking a game service away from a country isn’t going to be the most impactful sanction. It’s really cringe when I think about it .

Months later and I still cannot make progress past Renagades mission 2 due to a bug. I will be also be uninstalling. Bungie will never get a damn penny from me after this.

6 RepliesThere no need to announce it buddy. I’ve uninstalled D2 so many times to make room on my PS for other games like: Elden Ring, Cyberpunk, Lies of P, Resident Evils etc. You don’t have to play the same game every day. Try something different (not Marathon) and have fun.

1 ReplyI don't blame you, I'm thinking of doing the same, guardian games I'm not even going to play d2 now, bungo are sad as f***, if what I've seen is true, and it makes sense that it is true. Crimson desert got mixed reviews, 59% positive, and has sold 3m copies. Marathon got 85% positive and sold 1.2m copies, and it's player base is going down everyday, so what i think is people on reddit are being paid by bungo to give positive reviews. Crimson desert reviews are going up now in the 70% because the devs fixed problems players wanted, so more players are buying the game now, when they add multiplayer that will be interesting.

Everything went down. Part of , the problem is the game. It's not perfect and the other part, it's the human behavior we're very conflicted and Bongo was having lots of lawsuits because of it. T
