Lots of errors. Also I’m getting Contacting errors. My internet is up and I tested it with my PS5.

1 ReplyHello there, Thank you for reaching out On PlayStation, BEE + “Contacting Destiny 2 servers” means your console is dropping packets on the path to Bungie, even if your basic internet test passes. It’s usually network-side, not your PS5 hardware. Check server status first Destiny 2 status: Bungie Help site or @BungieHelp. PSN status: https://status.playstation.com If there’s maintenance or a known outage, you may just have to wait. Hard-reset PS5 and router Fully power off PS5 (not Rest Mode). Unplug router/modem for 30–60 seconds, then plug back in and wait until fully online. Turn PS5 back on and try again. Use wired and clear bandwidth If you’re on Wi-Fi, test with a wired Ethernet cable to the router; Bungie explicitly recommends this for BEE-type errors. While playing, stop other devices from streaming/downloading (TVs, phones, PCs); shared bandwidth spikes often trigger BEE/contacting errors. Optimize network settings for Destiny 2 On PS5: Settings → Network → Test Internet Connection (confirm NAT is Type 1 or 2). If your router has UPnP, turn it on; this usually handles ports automatically. If you’re comfortable with your router settings, you can port-forward the common PS Destiny ports (e.g., UDP 3074, 3478–3479), but UPnP is usually enough. If it still happens a lot Follow Bungie’s full Network Troubleshooting and Optimizing Connections guides from the BEE help page: https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360048715792-Error-Code-BEE
