I wasn’t very satisfied with Edge of Fate, so I kinda just stopped playing Destiny for a few months since I thought EoF was awful and now since Renegades has been out for a little bit, I’m thinking of coming back to go play some of it.
Before I play though, how does the Renegades campaign compare to Edge of Fate. Is it any better? And what major changes have come to the game that are different from Edge of Fate?

Remember old seasons like nether? Well renegades is a season taken from the year we dropped to episodes & 3 per year. There's very little campaign, I think 2 missions, & it's filled with doing the seasonal activity solo, you run it like 6 times, then there's lots of go see spider, go see aunor, go see spider, go outside & collect some trinkets, take them to spider, go see aunor. It's also a mish mash of dialogue voiced & text boxes like in edge, the voices lines were done before final shape because this was a season, the text boxes are what they added to make it make sense as a campaign without having to pay the voice actors who havent worked on destiny in over 2 years. You level up 3 vendors like old seasons too, & there's no health regen like nether. As a season it's decent, as a campaign it's cheeks & overpriced

If you just came back then you are gonna be good for about 2-3 weeks of playtime. Then it’s gonna get boring. The praxic blade is probably the most fun exotic destiny has ever had in my opinion and if you are decent in pvp, you will have a good time.

I was the exact same as you. I enjoyed renegades campaign, the replayable activity, loot and the dungeon. It’s a good dlc drop. Not massive or groundbreaking but fun.
