My missions go like this:

I use the Wish Dragon build, a DPS build, possibly the best DPS in the game (Celestial Still Hunt beats it in very short term DPS for sure, but Wish Dragon has an endless firepower backpack). It’s my premier Hunter DPS build. It (along with all of my builds) is a one-loadout for all mission and raid encounters build, the standard for any top tier build. This build needs someone to take care of Ad Clear, but everybody is a Lightsaber user. So we get into the mission and they say, “Ah, I have a lightsaber, therefore I am the DPS user.” So instantly they sprint to the highest health enemy like some hound, and start going bezerk and instead of being gunned down like they should, every single enemy shoots me a look and blasts me to smitherines while my tm8 attacks the boss unharmed for a few seconds until I die. Then, they are blasted off the boss, I’m dead, and the enemies have the last say until I’m revived. 99% of players are not experts. A week ago I used Sentinel Shield in an Ultimate Conquest and my tm8’s ran away from it during the boss fight! Thinking they’d be better off not standing behind it! Idiots! Going back to the clueless lightsaber users epidemic, my answer is this, “99% of players don’t know that there’s a sky-high damage threshold that the lightsaber build sets (not to mention unlimited ammo), designed only to be bested by the most elite and seemingly obscure builds.” So every time I get into a mission with a lightsaber user, they are completely useless compared to the builds I’ve created. Hunters are not Ad Clearers, Warlocks are not DPS, Titans can be either. The Prismatic builds are pitiful, absolutely pitiful. They miss out on the astonishing fragments and aspects combinations that are only found in a one subclass build. Instead each Guardian wants to feel like they’re the most valuable by having Strand, Arc, Solar, Stasis, all in their arsenal, but their result is a weak mess of elements and power that do not synergize with any of the best builds. Prismatic “Jack of All Trades” builds do not exist. Guardians need to play as something else. Prismatic are for solo play, 3 Guardians working together with synergized builds can do infinitely more than 3 Guardians that are each trying to “do it all,” and end up stepping on each other’s toes the whole mission because “I’m the DPS dealer.” The Wish Dragon build does infinite damage that outclasses the lightsaber, from range, and that’s before I even take out the exotic heavy weapon. Lightsaber DPS is just not adequate compared to it. I have a few Ad Clear builds that are better than the Prismatic One-For-All builds (that always seem to have no answer for the flying bosses and enemies), I just want to play one matchmade mission where Guardians are in Ad Clear roles. What I need is the option to specify in a Fireteam Finder what roles I need my Guardians to fill based on what character and build I’m playing as. “Need Ad Clear, Need DPS” is just what the Fireteam Finder needs.” Also, a space for the best of the best to play in that’s bigger than the Grandmaster Vanguard Alert. Knowledge of this game is power in it. I play the toughest missions only, so of course my expectations are high!
