During that desync, your character can effectively “die” server‑side, which is why you’re seeing deaths and ammo reset when you come back. Because this is connection‑related, please try: Power cycling your modem/router and platform/PC (fully shut down, unplug 1–2 minutes, then restart). Using a wired connection instead of Wi‑Fi, if possible. Disabling any VPNs, firewalls, or security software that might be filtering Destiny 2 traffic, or adding exceptions.
