Hey, as mentioned in the title, launching the game will inevitably crash my pc and make it restart if I have my external sound card on, which is pretty annoying...
Anyone else has had similar problems? Maybe found a fix?

Hey there, Thank you for reaching out, A few quick things to try: Update/reinstall the external sound card driver Uninstall its driver/software, reboot, then install the latest version from the manufacturer’s site (not just Windows Update). Use a direct motherboard USB port Plug the interface into a rear USB port on the PC (no hubs/front panel) and test again. Turn off Windows Spatial / 3D Audio Windows Settings - System - Sound - All sound devices - Output - Spatial sound - set to Off. Destiny 2 has a known PC issue with 3D audio that can completely break sound. Make it the only default output Sound settings - More sound settings / Sound Control Panel - Playback tab. Set your external card as Default Device and Default Communication Device, and disable any duplicate/unused outputs (TV, monitor audio, extra “headset” entries, etc.). If Destiny 2 launches fine with the sound card off, but reliably crashes the whole PC when it’s on, it’s almost certainly the interface/driver. In that case, I’d also send the details (model + driver version) to the card’s support so they can look at crash logs from their side.
