Boycott Marathon
what title says, upvote. Marathon community is going to end in the ditch just like the OG OG Halo and now Destiny communities. At least sell the IP to a studio that cares. Lets get 1k upvotes until a ninja takes this down.

I'm just getting more and more excited. Can't wait. The Thief gameplay was fire... exactly how I plan maining it. Looks like tight mechanics, with Bungie FPS... And it's not just robots... I don't know why no one is talking about that. I can't wait to start grinding... more and more, this game might be exactly what I've needed. I liked the Co Op ****. There's world events like The Hunt... they teased that, no one is talking about that. The Thief gameplay... I think it's top 2 if not the strongest class. It's ticking all the boxes for me. 😇👍💠

This Boycott will go about as well as the Harry Potter boycott... fun thing about boycotts, they're not really effective unless everyone is on board. -
I mean the people who aren't interested just wont buy it what is there to boycott its not like someone is obligated to buy it because bungie is on the label.

It doesn't look appealing at all it looks boring to be honest and also D1 will probably be calling it quits soon the reason is they got 3 games to maintain so quite possibly D1 servers might shut down the bigger question is when, but Destiny has served its purpose and dragging the story out will feel like here we go again mentality.

To be honest with you, this may already come true. If you remember when the Alpha or whatever was introduced the only streamers, streamers were saying it was awful, and within hours Bungie did what only Bungie would ever do... They said Marathon "isn't a game for Destiny players" to try and protect Marathon from the criticism, so they could change the narrative from "Marathon sucks" to "Marathon may be okay but the streamers with access aren't the intended crowd. Never underestimate how Bungie's short sightness works... their impulsiveness usually makes them eat their words. Because now they can't bank on much Destiny players because not only are we tired of the game we actually like being abused..... "why buy Marathon if Bungie said we won't like it". And good luck on Marathon stealing the extraction shooters fans from Escape from Tarkov, Arc Raiders, and etc. Even if Bungie wasn't already famous for how they treat their players, Marathon isn't a superior game to the market it's about to enter. 👍

Most boycotts, especially in the social media age have the exact opposite effect. All you are doing is mentioning Marathon. There is no such thing as bad press.

Bungie already sold the IP. Sony owns it. I have no interest in marathon myself.
