Introduction:
Since the Edge of Fate Barrow-Dyad has been in a bugged state concerning a EoF-prior accessiblity setting for the gun's reload mechanic.
The past:
During Episode: Heresy while emptying the mag with the Auto-Fire setting enabled it used kick you instantly into a reload overall improving the accessibility and QoL of the weapon. Barrow-Dyad would remain on the final bullet, like Touch of Malice, when the Auto-Fire setting was disabled.
The current:
Since the Edge of Fate, regardless if the Auto-Fire setting has been enabled or disabled will Barrow-Dyad remain on that final bullet. This makes the weapon feel less smooth and fun to use.
The future:
In the future I would like to see this almost year old bug addressed and resolved to smoothen Barrow-Dyad back up again and restore its fun-factor.

4 RepliesUnfortunately I don't think it's a bug. I also much preferred its behaviour when it launched and wish they would add a toggle (like they did with Queenbreaker) to set the default reload behaviour.

No I don't want them to revert it to making you reload it, bungie literally told us it was BUGGED at was meant to stay on a final round so it would slowly repopulate ammo if you stopped shooting, the reason why you can ToM it is so you can proc it's perks (3 diff targets or single target if you have that one on) Why do you want to reload the gun at the end of the mag when it's empty (nonmanual reload)???
