A lot of weird server stuff recently.

35 RepliesImagine a new game. Quit this nonsense. D2 is Dead. If they dropped three new subclasses and raid tomorrow, the vibes would only last three weeks. Then dead again.

Mr E...out of this office! - old
i think i found the cause of weird. Do you not see it? with those 👀 -
2 RepliesFor your title: I cannot imagine a truly populated Destiny after what Bungie has done to it after EoF. For your body: It doesn't matter at this point. It would only matter if Bungie invested in its content instead of what it is doing now.

1 ReplyI would love it, it will never happen, everyone quit after final shape. Best bet is D3 in like 5 years.

Edited by Stari: 2/8/2026 10:45:19 AMAnd still D2 pvp players with p2p connection- advantage have developed better skills, then players with a stable good internet. These "lucky" D2 PvP players can try all kinds of tricks and everything and they will win gunfights. They can basicaly play with any built/ weapons and they will win. The big majority of "unlucky" players can play 24/7 and they won't win from someone who only comes online ocasionally to play Trials. These unlucky players can practice what they want, but they don't stand a chance. Because this is peer-to-peer Destiny 2 pvp.

7 RepliesWait this is them boosting servers in D2?

1 ReplyEdited by Wargodmini: 2/8/2026 9:31:42 AMMaybe ditch old gen consoles, so this game can be updated to it's potential? I am not a technical person, but perhaps if old gen consoles can have D2 up to a point, and then move on from there, and update it to next gen consoles, I think that would be pretty sweet I'll be taking your pitch forks now. closes eyes, opens arms*

5 RepliesImagine if D2 had been built with a newer engine than the Tiger one.

1 ReplyContinue coping.

25 RepliesNot worth them doing anything like dedicated servers now… just aren’t enough players for it to make economic sense…
-
2 RepliesYou think they'll have a flowing war map???

3 RepliesSee you guys in marathon, time to move on, follow the money/rain/birds

1 ReplyMakes it so that there are key players or regions to host off of right and if they don’t log in it ruins consistency?
