Game is just sad and dead
Trying to play Mayhem and there is one lobby available of 8 people. Bungie leadership has proven over and over they are incompetent and don’t know how to get people to actually play their game unless forced. All they had to do was add a featured playlist to the portal.

So they did what they could, it's there available, you just have to make a choice, what's the problem? no people? Stay in the lobby/mode... oh what you don't have the time to wait? and make a choice to leave but it's Bungie's fault? And the portal thing... are you seriously complaining that no one plays it because you have to click 2 more buttons?

3 RepliesIt’s not dead much as Anthem is where the discs are useless that you can’t trade it in or donate to an charity shop all it’s good for is an glorified coaster or an wall art piece so no destiny is not dead no matter what steam charts tell people who blindly believe in the data when it doesn’t reflect the entire playerbase it’s like an weather forecast saying that there’s going to be snow tomorrow and when people wake up and look outside and there’s nothing but people still blindly fell for the weather presenters false predictions my dude.

3 RepliesIs it just me or is Bungie trying to kill Destiny? For me, I have no interest in Marathon, but the way they have treated thier player base with this game I am hoping Marathon is the biggest flop in gaming history. Bunige deserves it.

On Saturday I've spent more time in Orbit queueing matches in Comp than actually playing... And if I finally managed to play it was one big laggy bonanza... Truly sad to see this game being so dead...

1 ReplySorry to break it too you, BUT A featured playlist in the portal is not why people are not playing mayhem or PVP in general. Look, PVP in this game is heavily balanced for the sweats, or if you will not balanced AT ALL! A below average player has zero chance of having fun in PVP. You want players to flock to a game mode? make it fun! make it enjoyable! make it rewarding! In pvp make it fair! Bungie fought so long to not have skill based match maker that by the time they tried to implement their version it failed. Not enough player were playing PVP to make it a viable option. Many would not even try it and those of us who did had to repeat our placement series against sweat the very next season; as if bungie lost our skill number. Bunk! Bungie just did that to feed us back to the sweats because they did not like facing each other. It was not good for their you tube channels. You want players in PVP? FUN, ENJOYABLE, REWARDING

It's all to push you towards Marathon out of boredom and change. I will never give them another dime. To each his own. When they put the Marathon "pre-order" option in D2, it was the ultimate low.

The worst part is when they dangle the "new season " with all the bells and whistles with awesome exotic and great stuff added to the season pass and then we buy into it and when we get it everything's fine and dandy till the 2nd or 3rd week then ducktape takes effect, game starts crashing (contacting Destiny Servers),a bunch of nerfs,drops not dropping, and the small apologies but nothing to compensate 🤷♂️
