I have been playing Destiny 1 and 2 and got my first warning/temporary restriction for unstable internet when I never lag/have had any sort of unstable internet connection. I just wanted to log on to play with my friends in trials and now I can’t even play. It’s one thing if I actually did have those issues, then I would acknowledge it. However I never have any sort of unstable internet connection and have never received a restriction prior to tonight. Now I am banned for two weeks and cannot play with my friends. This just makes me unmotivated to even play the game. I hope this can be fixed

3 RepliesHello there, The reasons that can cause a restriction can be found here: Why was I Restricted? Restrictions for Connections: The 1st restriction is for 2 weeks Each additional will be 2 months. If you believe the restriction was placed in error, feel free to submit an appeal on this Page. Please read all the info on the page before submitting the form at the bottom. The form is for appeals only, they do not answer questions as to why or how long.
Requests for additional information, such as the length or reason of a restriction or ban, will be disregarded. Here are some suggestions that may help with connection issues:

1. Use a wired connection rather than Wi-Fi 2. Quit any program or turn off other devices that are streaming 3. Clear your console cache or, if on PC, verify the integrity of your game files. 4. Power cycle your internet router 5. Improve your latency and packet loss 6. Follow the Network Troubleshooting Guide for best optimizing your connection to Destiny. If issues persist, try the Advanced Steps Networking Guide for possible router solutions, such as enabling UPnP or changing your NAT type. 7. Enable IPV6 on your router to see if that helps

Bungie never, ever takes action against players based solely on reports from other players. They understand the problems that doing so would present. Reports can only trigger reviews of the account(s).

1 ReplyActually, this is the second time, because the very first time you just get a warning with no restriction. Then it's a 2-week restriction, and after that 2 months...

Sorry to hear this bro never seen you lag in a lobby. Bungie fix your -blam!- game seriously stop catering to ppl spamming report button. Stop trying to punish the last 20 players playing this trash mode that you call the crucible. This doesn’t get resolved i will refund my marathon copy asap
