Error 1618 when verifying my Bungie account with phone number
I’m having an issue trying to verify my Bungie account using my phone number. Every time I try to do it, I get this error message:
“An unexpected error occurred on Bungie servers while trying to retrieve Destiny information. (1618)”
This happens every time I attempt the verification. My account works fine, but the problem shows up specifically when I try to verify my phone number. I’ve tried multiple times and the issue still happens.
I’d appreciate any help or guidance on how to fix this, since I can’t complete the verification process.

9 RepliesHi there, Please try logging in through an incognito window. If that doesn't help, try clearing your browser cache and waiting over 24 hours before trying validation again. You may want to try validating during a time when you suspect there may be less traffic as well, in case the service is congested. If the issue persists, you may need to try a different phone number for validation.
