Arms week event is too short to complete in time
Why is there only one week to complete arms week? There's too much that has to be done. People have to work. I don't even know if I'm going to get the main title completed. And I've been getting on every day since it came out. So maybe either consider lowering the requirements or change the name and stretch it into two weeks because this just isn't enough time for people who have to work for a living. And the last time I checked the people who work for a living are the ones that pay for your game

Ngl I completed the free pass thing like the first day and I didn’t even play the crucible game idea during the event, u might just not be playing as much as you think you are

not too shoort, played 4h and nearly completed it, but having more weeks is always better especially for times like this

Especially when bungie broke the event, they should’ve just extend it for another week at least. And it could help with the draught. Maybe. I can’t find myself getting back into this game much cuz of lack of replayability, broken parts of the game, and just boring…. I’ve only been on mostly for bright dusts and maybe some new loots and that’s just about it. Breaking the Arm event just turned me off all the more. Been drifting around on some other games from game passes which seems to be more entertaining right now than d2.

Edited by Reith: 2/5/2026 1:07:45 AMI got to rank 10 in a night of 3 or so hours of grind. Got both god rolls of bow and glaive and then piece'd out. Its not that bad. I did use 2 reroll chips so there's that.... Edit: and that was on the Monday be4 reset (see history lol).

I'd go with Bungie being out of touch. Cool event followed by a desert of content. The Dawning had less in-game value for a longer duration. Congrats to all those that "completed" it, from the comments I read their enthusiasm sure made it sound too easy and worthwhile, can't wait for the next one.

Personally didn’t have an issue completing this reward track, however not much time to grind out holofoils had lots of new weapon rolls. Maybe these activities would benefit from a way to bring back old armour sets, after all how much of the new PvP set do you actually need? One improvement they could make was to also disable exotics and aspects/ fragments in the PvP mode. By the end of the week almost every hunter was running oathkeepers void, or fortunes favour. Titans with banners of war. At this point the enjoyment of PvP was decreasing rapidly, being one shot with body hits even with high health. Even worse being one shot from an explosion on a wall.

Meh. I did it easily & didn't even do all the daily challenges. It really wasn't that time-consuming.

My guess is that the Bow mod was making people feel like guardians should and gamers were able to accomplish other areas in the game and obviously Ungie doesn't want people to just finish they want them on the hamster wheel 🤷♂️ An Unpopular way of doing things

I didnt play all week, and managed to finish the reward track on the weekend. There was nothing that difficult to finish, the daily and weekly quests boost the reward track pretty fast. What exactly were you having difficulty completing? I did only 2 pvp games for the first weapon mod, and farmed precision kills in a lower level solo strike. Had all the exotic weapon mods in less than a few hours. Side note, not all players pay for the game. Due to Free to Play, a large amount of players provide ZERO income towards the game.

had everything except the pvp requirement done in about 14 hours of playtime (2 days). won't get the title because I refuse to participate in MANDATORY pvp. not a very good event in any case, and broken the first 24 hours after reset didn't help, but I sympathize. the Guardian Games should be coming up in a month or three, and at least in the past, that is a better event. although with their current track record, it will probably be broken too.

Completing the reward track aside, a one week event excludes so many players who might have a busy week and not have a chance to revolve their schedule around it. 2-3 week events just feel better. 1 week isn’t enough for most events— especially when the modifiers are fun to play.

2 RepliesIt’s still on!!!!! Well, sort of… it’s still in the portal. It still has quests that you can complete… it’s still dropping event tokens ….it doesn’t have the hardware activities anymore… and Ava is not in the shooting range… Also, all the volatile items have expired… but still show on Bows that were equipped… they don’t seem the function anymore, though… So it’s still sort of arms week? 😂

Some of these arms week would be cool for two weeks. Some are just boring so two weeks would suck, but I get what you are saying.

1 ReplyI had everything done within 3 days after reset 😐 it was so easy that by the Monday before it ended I was able to turn in a total of 1100 tokens. Learn how to play this game properly.

Are you serious? I got the Event Rank to maximum by Friday just by doing bounties and a few Hardware matches here and there. A week is plenty of time to get to max Rank. As for the Title, that should come naturally if you've been grinding the event to any capacity. What were you doing with your time on this game for the past week that you couldn't even get the Event Pass maxed out?

Edited by Yash: 2/3/2026 9:15:34 AMIt is the combination of a short event and Bungie's philosophy that FOMU creates loyalty. Yeah it sucks, because it just pushes people to a breaking point where they just quite the game for good. It is funny how they wonder why new players don't stick around.

This might be a hot take, but hardware was so much fun and I already miss it. Flying around with a bow at Mach 10 one shotting in the head made for so many clips.
